The Department of Diwan is considered one of the important departments, as it plays a vital role in coordinating and supervising the work of colleges and departments within the university concerning the department's tasks.
Department Tasks:
- Direct management of organizing celebrations, scientific conferences, official and unofficial events inside and outside the university.
- Providing essential services within the university by managing the workforce, including permanent staff, contract workers, and daily wage employees.
- Monitoring the mechanisms and generators belonging to the university presidency, its colleges, and all its formations.
- Carrying out maintenance work for the university presidency, its colleges, and all formations, including maintenance of water and electrical installations and other tasks.
- Performing gardening and landscaping work for the university presidency and its colleges.
- Conducting maintenance for cooling devices, refrigerators, and some electrical appliances for the university presidency, its colleges, and all formations.
- Coordinating and communicating with external parties, managing the electronic fingerprint system, organizing its reports, and following up on the electronic fingerprint attendance system for all colleges.
