Establishment and Growth
Fallujah University was established by ministerial order No. (Q/4/3) on February 23, 2014. Initially, the university comprised five colleges: the College of Medicine, the College of Administration and Economics, the College of Law, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the College of Islamic Sciences. On September 9, 2018, the College of Applied Sciences was added, consisting of four departments. Due to the events affecting Anbar, including Fallujah, the university was compelled to begin its first academic year in Baghdad, relying on the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, senior leadership, faculty members, and staff.
The university aspires to achieve a distinguished status among national, Arab, and international universities, leveraging Fallujah’s rich scientific and cultural heritage. Despite being a relatively young institution, Fallujah University is committed to providing students with education that adheres to the standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
