Achieving the mission of the university and then the mission of the ministry in cooperation with colleges, bodies and research centers to improve the quality of education, scientific curricula, teaching and teaching staff, and to advance academic scientific research for students and researchers, and to employ all of this in the interest of societies and their development through commitment to comprehensive quality standards and the preparation of comprehensive moderate Islamic scientific generations based on the Islamic, cultural and Arab heritage, and coexistence with the present and its modern changes, and anticipating the future and looking forward to it with firm, faithful steps that consolidate our constants and our Islamic and Arab cultural values and employ all of this in the service of its religion and homeland through effective communication with society and influencing it.
College Objectives:
Reviving the major objectives of Islam from the legislation of Islamic rulings and highlighting their goals, impact and real action in Islamic rulings.
Confronting extremism with correct evidence and disciplined jurisprudential reading, spreading the culture of scientific Islamic moderation, and coexisting with everyone in love, peace, and reverence, guided by the guidance of our true religion.
Establishing ethics first, then science second, and emphasizing that studying Islamic sciences is a religious duty, as are other specializations, and must be respected because they are all in the service of the straight path leading to the guidance of humanity.
Teaching Islamic sciences with all their schools of thought and trends, which represent the most honest codification of the Islamic mind in the era of civilizational renaissance, and calling for borrowing from them and being enlightened by them according to the needs of the contemporary nation.
Preparing competent teaching staff that seek to enhance scientific research through joint research projects with the concerned official and unofficial bodies in a way that meets the requirements of development, ensures quality, and meets the needs of society.
Supplying society with outputs that carry the moderate Islamic culture to meet the needs of religious schools and others, and graduating preachers, imams, and orators in mosques in Iraq and abroad.
The necessity for the college to have a prominent impact in various vital and scientific aspects, and to provide advice and guidance to the college’s members and students, and to communicate with members of society in order to reach an aware society fortified by a moderate Islamic culture in which backwardness and fanaticism that are not based on sound evidence are rejected.
