College of Applied Sciences

Objectives:

1- Work in harmony with the university's programs and objectives according to national and international controls and standards in the fields of specialization of scientific departments and work to develop specializations

2- Applied science and adopting solid study curricula.

3- Developing the levels of medical services in health institutions in all their branches in order to raise the levels of health and medical awareness.

4- Providing complementary public services in the fields of biology, biotechnology, medical chemistry and physics to colleges and the university by knowing their special, individual and distinctive needs.

5- Developing methods and means of scientific research in specializations related to the effective college departments

6- To reach solutions to applied scientific problems in the areas of society's need for science - pharmaceutical industry and preventive mechanisms.

7- Establishing an Arab and international cultural and scientific relationship with the relevant colleges and participating in Arab and international conferences effectively and at different levels and organizing corresponding activities in the college.

8- Encouraging and supporting students to develop their scientific levels and capabilities and directing them towards creating a scientific artistic identity for them in order to build a scientifically and research-balanced society.

9- Supporting the conduct and publication of applied research that contributes to providing scientific and technical knowledge and providing distinguished research programs according to quality standards and academic accreditation.

Vision:

As a result of the social and scientific changes in Iraq in particular and in the world in general, university degrees have become an urgent necessity for the majority of members of society due to their importance in the development of medical and health institutions in civil society and the development of applied research for advancement and progress in light of environmental, economic and social conditions, the College of Applied Sciences is not the name of a newly established academic applied scientific research institution in developed and advanced countries, but rather it is an academic applied institution dating back to the beginning of the last century, which was established on foundations and objectives represented by the development of community construction paths with qualitative technical characteristics through the preparation and preparation of a balanced, competent and qualified scientific and academic level for effective participation in the scientific and technical revolution.
