The Assistant President of the University of Fallujah for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad,
participated on Wednesday, 1 November / November 2023, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Muhannad Khalifa Obaid, at the activities of the First Conference of the Industrial Advisory Council in Iraqi Universities 2023, which was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in partnership with the private sector, unions and organizations at Gilgamesh National University in Baghdad. which came under the slogan: “Advanced higher education...meets the requirements of the labor market,” aims to harmonize academic outcomes with labor market requirements, by developing the skills of graduates and placing them in the private and public sectors.
The conference participants pointed to the need to find a fit between the outcomes of the educational process and the requirements of the industrial sector in the country, while calling for building bridges of cooperation between various sectors and activating the role of industrial advisory councils in Iraqi universities.
