On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the University of Fallujah signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Kitab University to enhance the prospects for joint scientific and academic cooperation. The memorandum was signed by the University of Fallujah, Mr. President of the University,
Prof. Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi, in the presence of Mr. Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, Mr. Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, Mr. Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed, and Mr. Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. M.D. Muhannad Khalifa Obaid and Mr. Director of the Missions and Cultural Relations Department, A.M.D. Iyad Hammoud Ahmed, while it was signed on behalf of Al-Kitab University by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Iyad Barzanji. In turn, the President of the University of Fallujah, during the memorandum signing meeting, praised the cooperation between the two sides, and appreciated the role of Al-Kitab University in its pursuit of development and innovation at the local and international levels, pointing out that there is a convergence in the two missions through the university’s keenness to strengthen the system of leadership and innovation,
and to support the capabilities of education and scientific research. The meeting witnessed the exchange of commemorative shields by both sides as an expression of their mutual appreciation. A group photo was also taken to document this visit. The memorandum aims to activate and develop joint scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities, and raise the academic level in the fields of scientific research, training and professional development, in addition to cooperation in holding conferences, seminars, workshops and joint scientific research projects. Following the signing of the memorandum,
the President of Al-Kitab University accompanied the President of the University and his accompanying delegation on a field tour within the corridors of Al-Kitab University, and briefed His Excellency on its laboratories, study halls, and infrastructure. The signing of the memorandum of understanding stems from the distinguished relations between the two universities, and their effort to create a framework to enhance the partnership and ongoing cooperation between them.
