On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the President of Fallujah University, Professor Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, inaugurated the “University of Fallujah Business Incubator to Support the Ideas and Projects of Female Students” on the sidelines of his visit to the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
Following the incubation ceremony marking the launch of the incubator, Mr. President was briefed, in the presence of the official of the Division of Women, Assistant Professor Dr. Lamia Adnan Abdul Ali, on models of student projects in the field of entrepreneurship. He also heard an explanation from them about their thoughts and future aspirations.
His Excellency spoke of the female students' entrepreneurship and improving the environment for their ideas to be incorporated into enterprises on the ground, contributing to the development of the national economy and the creation of new jobs. He continued, “The business incubator will work to empower female students with entrepreneurial skills, develop their abilities to manage their projects, and enhance their spirit.”
Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad praised the excellence of the ideas presented, stressing the University of Fallujah’s keenness to provide the necessary support for creative ideas and develop them within a general framework so that they are applicable ideas.
The University of Fallujah Business Incubator aims to provide a suitable environment for the emergence of small and medium projects by supporting and following up on the innovative ideas of female students.
