Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Karim Abdel Rahman, a lecturer at the University of Fallujah and head of the Central Promotions Committee, participated on Sunday, November 12, as a member and supervisor in the committee to discuss his doctoral thesis tagged “Bacterological and Molecular study of Legionella pneumophilia isolated
from clincal and environmeatal samples,” which took place at the College of Science at Anbar University. The study, presented by student Muhammad Ibrahim Khaled, aimed to isolate and diagnose the “Legionella” bacteria that cause “legionella” from patients suffering from symptoms of pneumonia, in addition to the environmental sources of drinking water in the city of Fallujah, while studying some of the physical,
chemical and biological factors of these sources and knowing their impact on the spread of these bacteria. This participation comes within the framework of the University of Fallujah’s keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with other Iraqi universities in various scientific and academic fields, including It contributes to the growth, development and support of scientific research.
