On November 6, 2024, the University of Fallujah signed a twinning agreement with the University of the Sha'ab to enhance scientific and academic cooperation. This agreement was established during a visit by Professor Dr. Yousef Khalaf Yousef, President of the University of the People, who was received by Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, President of the University of Fallujah, along with other university officials.
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Hamad emphasized the importance of this agreement in fulfilling the university’s aspirations for collaboration with local and international institutions, aimed at creating an innovative educational environment. He praised the expertise of the University of the Sha'ab in improving academic quality.
Dr. Yousef expressed his pleasure at the partnership and acknowledged the academic achievements of the University of Fallujah. The agreement includes provisions for the exchange of expertise, joint cultural and scientific activities, workshops, and conferences. A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the College of Administration and Economics of both universities to further their collaboration.
The visit concluded with the exchange of gifts, marking the beginning of a cooperative relationship between the two universities in alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s goals to enhance higher education and research quality.
