University of Fallujah Launches Cultural Qur’anic Competition to Promote Qur’anic Culture
In an effort to enhance the dissemination of Qur’anic culture among students, the University of Fallujah launched the cultural Qur’anic competition, organized by the Holy Qur’an Education Center under the patronage of University President Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi and supervised by Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad.
The competition's activities, hosted by the College of Islamic Sciences, began with a beautiful recitation of a verse from the Holy Qur’an. The event was followed by a speech from Prof. M.D. Muhammad Hussein Odeh, Director of the Qur'an Education Center and Chairman of the Jury Committee. Prof. Odeh welcomed the students from various university colleges participating in the competition and expressed his gratitude for their enthusiastic participation. He highlighted several noble hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that emphasize the importance of learning, reading, and memorizing the Qur’an, as well as the esteemed status of its memorizers and readers.
This competition is part of a series of initiatives organized by the University of Fallujah to bring students together in the spirit of the Holy Qur’an, strengthening the connection between the university youth and the teachings of the Qur’an.
