Within the framework of supporting sports activities at the university; Today, Thursday, November 2, 2023,
the President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi, opened the activities of the University of Fallujah President’s Cup for five-a-side football for university students, which is hosted by the College of Administration and Economics in coordination with the Department of Student and Sports Activities at the University Presidency. The President of the University delivered a speech on this occasion, in which he welcomed the attendees, including deans of colleges, their assistants, and officials of student and sports activities units. His Excellency also greeted his fellow students, stressing that organizing the tournament reflects the University of Fallujah’s commitment to providing a comprehensive and encouraging educational environment for university students, and enhancing the sports,
social, and cultural spirit among them. He pointed out the importance of participating in various student and sports activities in order to break the psychological barrier, integrate students, and achieve the maximum scientific and social benefit for them, praising at the same time the efforts made in organizing this tournament. The President of the University witnessed the opening match between the teams of the College of Administration, Economics, and Law, which ended with the victory of the College of Administration and Economics team with three goals versus two goals for the College of Law team. His Excellency congratulated the players of both teams for their efforts and the sportsmanship and outstanding levels they demonstrated during the match,
