On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Security Planning, titled "The Role of Knowledge Management Processes in Achieving Strategic Excellence."
The session was attended by the University President, Professor Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, PhD a the dean Dr. Muhannad Khalifa Obaid, and the admin deputy dean for, Dr. Ahmed Abbas Abdullah.
The study, submitted by student Azhar Khalakhal Hussein under the supervision of Dr. Wissam Ali Hussein, aimed to address modern variables in the field of management adopted by contemporary intellectual approaches.
The study demonstrated how the National Security Matrix has employed these variables in its operations, focusing on the knowledge management process, its dimensions, and its importance.T
he examining committee was chaired by Dr. Basim Faisal Abdul, with membership of Dr. Amer Ali Hamad and Dr. Yasser Latif Khalaf. The study arrived at several conclusions, the most significant being that the National Security Apparatus has placed a strong emphasis on identifying knowledge, which has enhanced the knowledge management process by fostering a culture of individual initiatives among its members.
