University of Fallujah Representative Participates in Doha's 15th International Conference on Interfaith Dialogue
A.M.D. Daham Muhammad Daham, Head of the Public Policy Unit at the University of Fallujah, participated in the 15th International Conference on Interfaith Dialogue, held in Doha, Qatar, from May 7 to 8, 2024. The conference, organized under the theme “Religions and Youth Education in Light of Contemporary Family Changes: Family Integration, Religion, Values, and Education,” brought together scholars and experts to discuss pressing issues related to faith, family, and education.
As part of his participation, Dr. Daham presented a research paper titled:
“Challenges Facing the Family in Post-2003 Iraq: Takfir and Displacement as a Model.” His research explored the socio-religious challenges affecting Iraqi families, particularly the impact of extremist ideologies and forced displacement on the traditional family structure.
The conference aimed to address the growing global challenges that threaten the moral and value-based foundations of the family, with international institutions and scholars discussing strategies to preserve and reinforce these foundations in modern societies.
