Fallujah University academic delegation took part in the discussions organized by the AUIB Institute of Continuing Education under the title “Academic Accreditation and International Standards in Educational Institutions Management”.
The panel discussion included a lecture delivered by Professor Khalil Ibrahim Mahmoud, PhD, covering several topics, including introductions to the quality of education, modern global quality systems, and their application in Iraq.
The lecture also included global standards for university quality management and institutional accreditation criteria, as well as a comparison between ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and ISO 21001:2018 (EOMS) systems. The lecture also highlighted the similarities and differences between academic accreditation and modern ISO standards, emphasizing the need for universities to implement standards, most importantly ISO 50001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
