A selected Fallujah University academic delegation has participated in the program activities of the 2nd training session organized by Al-Kafeel University in Najaf Governorate on the implementation of the Bologna Process (BIS), in line with the Iraqi MOHESR instructions and recommendations.
Fallujah University delegation included the Director of Planning Studies Department, Assoc. Prof. Alaa Suleiman Nasar, PhD, and the Director of Student Affairs and Registration At the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Talib, PhD. The theme of the session was to familiarize participants with the “BIS” system, also known as (Bologna process), and to review the tabs of the electronic system adopted in European Union universities (ECTS).
The session included theoretical and practical sessions on various aspects of the “BIS” system, including university administration, faculty, student affairs and test management. During the session, the UF delegation discussed the problems encountered by the College of Applied Sciences in marking student grades and tracking cases. They also offered proposals to overcome them.
It is worth mentioning that the BIS is a framework that includes a set of reforms and agreements among countries focusing on various aspects of higher education. Department of Media and Government Communications
