University of Fallujah Launches Third International Conference on Information and Science
Fallujah, December 27, 2023 – The University of Fallujah inaugurated the Third International Conference on Information and Science, held under the patronage of Minister of Higher Education Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi and the supervision of University President Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi. The event, hosted at the College of Medicine, brought together officials from Anbar province, representatives from the Ministry of Education, and academics from both local and international institutions.
The opening ceremony featured a Quran recitation, the national anthem, and a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs of Iraq and Palestine. In his welcome address, Dr. Hammadi highlighted the conference’s role as a platform for intellectual exchange and research collaboration. A documentary on the university’s reconstruction efforts was also presented.
The event included a ceremonial tribute honoring former university presidents and deans for their contributions. Following this, the scientific sessions commenced, covering a range of research topics and academic discussions.
Spanning two days, the conference aimed to promote pioneering ideas, enhance research partnerships, and strengthen academic networks.
