On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Fallujah University organized a group iftar for university students residing in the internal departments complex, as an extension of the series of humanitarian initiatives that the university used to present during the holy month of Ramadan.
This initiative came under the guidance of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, as an expression of his feeling of parental responsibility towards the students, and in his effort to alleviate the burden of alienation on them, and to create a warm Ramadan atmosphere that makes them feel their presence among their families.
The breakfast banquet was held in the courtyards of the department complex within the site of the new university city, in the presence of the President of the University, the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, and a number of deans of colleges and their assistants, as well as a group of directors of administrative departments and university employees.
In his speech, the President of the University stressed that we attach great importance to the participation of our students at all times and circumstances, by presenting initiatives that enhance their morale. At the same time, he directed his thanks and appreciation to everyone who participated in preparing the group iftar, asking God to accept everyone’s fasting, prayers, and good deeds in this holy month.
In turn, the students expressed their overwhelming happiness with this generous initiative by the Presidency of the University of Fallujah, stressing that it makes them feel concerned and supported, and enhances the spirit of brotherhood and harmony among them.
On the sidelines of the banquet, His Excellency listened to the students’ opinions, met their requirements, and directed those in charge of the internal departments to implement the required services within what was permitted in light of the housing instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
