Under the sponsorship and presence of the respected President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Khalifa Obaid, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Fallujah held on Wednesday, corresponding to May 8, 2024, its fifth annual student conference, under the slogan “Through scientific research, nations advance and prosper.”
The conference, which was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and a number of faculty members and college students, witnessed the discussion of scientific research submitted by bachelor’s students in administrative, economic, financial and banking specializations.
In his speech during the conference, the President of the University stressed the importance of scientific research in the advancement and development of societies, noting that this conference is a unique opportunity for students to present their research and discuss it with experienced faculty members.
His Eminence also indicated that the University of Fallujah pays great attention to supporting scientific research and encouraging students to participate in scientific conferences and events, out of its belief in the importance of their role in building the future of Iraq.
The conference activities aim to encourage students to present their ideas and suggestions about societal problems, and to develop their spirit of dialogue and debate. At the conclusion of the conference, the University President honored the student researchers with shields of creativity and excellence and certificates of appreciation, in appreciation of their efforts in preparing their scientific research.
