The General Secretariat of the Central Library was established with the founding of the University of Fallujah in 2014. The library strives to actively contribute to achieving the university's goals and mission, which aim to graduate and prepare researchers, scholars, and professors capable of reflecting the bright image of our beloved country. This is accomplished by supporting and serving the educational process, curricula, and academic programs in the university, its colleges, and centers, as well as providing library services to readers and researchers.
The library also contributes to preserving and transferring intellectual and scientific heritage, promoting research activities, serving the community, and building a digital environment that keeps pace with technological developments in the field of electronic publishing. This, in turn, enhances communication among researchers in the fields of scientific production and publishing.
The library works on acquiring digital books produced by prestigious universities around the world and by global commercial publishers in various disciplines. It also helps faculty members, researchers, and others by facilitating the search for and access to information in a digital environment. Additionally, it participates in sharing electronic information resources among members of the digital library.
