On Monday, August 19, 2024, the distinguished President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, visited the general headquarters of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, accompanied by the Director of the Student Activities Department, Professor Dr. Salim Hassan Jalab. They were received by the Head of the Academics Syndicate, Dr. Ali Masir Yassin.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a group of important issues aimed at developing higher education and scientific research in Iraq, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation between the university and the Syndicate.
In turn, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, praised the great role played by the Iraqi Academics Syndicate in advancing the academic situation. He stressed the University of Fallujah’s keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with the Syndicate to ensure the provision of the necessary support to academics in achieving their noble mission of building and developing society.
For his part, Dr. Ali Masir Yassin welcomed the visit of the President of the University and the delegation accompanying him, appreciating the efforts made by the university leadership in advancing the academic process.
At the conclusion of the visit, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, presented a shield in honor of the President of the Academics Syndicate, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and warm reception. He also expressed hope that this visit would result in opening new horizons of cooperation between the two sides in the near future.
