Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the Center for Teaching the Holy Qur’an at the University of Fallujah conducted, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, the test for the “Interpretation and Contemplation of Surat Al Imran” competition, within the College of Islamic Sciences.
The competition, in which 35 male and female students from various university colleges participate, aims to enhance students’ understanding and contemplation of the Holy Qur’an, and encourage them to delve deeper into its verses and their meanings.
In addition, the Director of the Holy Quran Teaching Center, A.M.D., confirmed that Muhammad Hussein Odeh emphasized the importance of this competition in enhancing students’ understanding of the Holy Qur’an and contemplating its verses, praising the students’ broad participation in the competition. A.M.D. explained: Muhammad Hussein Odeh said that the test was conducted by a specialized jury, which included an elite group of the center’s professors, pointing out that the results of the competition will be announced and the winners will be honored during a closing ceremony, the date of which will be determined later.
This competition comes within a series of activities and events that the Center for Teaching the Holy Qur’an at the University of Fallujah is keen to organize periodically, out of its belief in the importance of the Holy Qur’an in the lives of Muslims, and its role in raising generations.
