Today, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the University of Fallujah organized a mourning and protest in the university’s presidential building and its colleges in support of the Palestinian people and in denunciation of the massacre of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which was committed by the brutal Israeli aggression, in which hundreds of martyrs and wounded fell victim. The university’s president, Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi,
the university’s assistant president for scientific affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and Mr. Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, and the deans of colleges and heads of departments, as well as the university’s employees and students. The vigil ceremony began with the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs, and prayers for the wounded and injured for a speedy recovery.
