On Monday, the distinguished President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, chaired July 22 / July 2024, the proceedings of the first meeting of the University Council in its tenth session, in the presence of Mr. Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, and all the members of the Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed the members, and presented the directives of His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research during the sixth meeting of the opinion body. After that, the attendees discussed the topics on the Council’s agenda, which included the following:
■ Discussing the results of the second semester exams - the second round of the academic year 2023-2024.
■ Update mechanism Summer assignment to ensure the progress of work.
■ Develop a comprehensive maintenance plan in preparation for the new academic year 2024-2025.
■ Follow up on safety procedures in all university sites.
The Council approved the creation of a new master’s program in the specialty of animal physiology to meet the needs of the labor market and advance scientific research in this field. The Council also approved requests for academic promotion to the rank of professor for a number of faculty members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the University thanked and appreciated the Council members for their distinguished efforts to advance the University.
