The University of Fallujah Council was held today, Sunday, November 12 2023, its third regular session for the academic year 2023-2024, headed by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi. The President of the University confirmed at the beginning of the session that was held in the College of Administration and Economics in the presence of Mr. Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad,
and Assistant to the President of the University For Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, and all members of the Council, stressed the importance of strengthening the academic reality within the colleges and providing the elements of scientific sobriety. The meeting discussed a number of topics and items included in the Council’s agenda, which focused on discussing with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research the issue of handling student cases for the academic year 2022-2023, and following up on the preparations for the Third International Conference on Information and Science, in addition to discussing requests for extension for the second time for postgraduate students, and restructuring the promotion objection committee. Scientific research at the university,
supporting scientific research, disbursing financial dues, and calling for the formation of inventory and conformity committees. The council hosted the member of the Ministerial Committee for Curriculum Development and the training expert, A.M.D. Etemad Naji Fayyad, and Director of the Center for Computing and Information Technology, A.M.D. Omar Salah Farhan, and Director of the Media and Government Communications Department, A.M.D. Muhammad Rafi Labad, Director of the Center for Biotechnology and Environmental Technologies and Member of the Ministerial Committee for Institutional Accreditation, Prof. Dr. Hameed Madloul Muhammad; To discuss a number of issues related to the work of these centers and departments. Then the Council continued its discussion of other scientific,
administrative and financial sections and took the necessary recommendations and decisions regarding them. At the conclusion of the session, the President of the University thanked the members of the Council, praising their continued efforts in improving the academic and research process at the University. In a related context, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi, conducted an inspection tour of the College of Administration and Economics, during which he praised the great efforts made by the College in taking care of green spaces by sustaining Gardens and their development.
