The College of Law at the University of Fallujah discussed a master’s thesis in the private law branch entitled “Application of the Judge’s Law to International Investment Contract Disputes.”
The Assistant President of the University of Fallujah for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sulaiman Barak Al-Jumaili, participated in his capacity as a member and supervisor in the committee discussing the thesis submitted by the student Sarah Thamer Hamad.
The thesis sought to explain how the national judge’s law is applied to a dispute tinged with a foreign element, by addressing the application of the judge’s law in two cases; The first is when the judge has the original jurisdiction in the presence of substantive rules, and the second is when the law of the judge has the reserve jurisdiction as required,
in addition to explaining the position of the Iraqi legislator and his role in developing this field. Department of Media and Government Communications
