Master’s Thesis Defense at the University of Fallujah Explores Exchange Rate Changes and Their Impact on Iraq’s Economy
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Fallujah held a discussion on a master’s thesis titled:
"Changes in the Exchange Rate and Its Impact on Some Macroeconomic Variables in Iraq (2004-2020)"
The thesis, presented by Zeina Kamal Taha, aimed to analyze the trends of the Iraqi dinar exchange rate and its effects on key macroeconomic variables over the research period. The study emphasized the exchange rate as one of the most critical economic indicators, particularly in relation to gross domestic product (GDP).
The discussion took place in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdullah Ibrahim, Dean of the College, with an esteemed evaluation committee consisting of:

After a thorough discussion and review of the student’s defense, the committee approved the thesis and awarded Zeina Kamal Taha a master’s degree with a satisfactory grade.
