On Thursday, August 15, 2024, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Fallujah discussed the higher diploma thesis equivalent to a master’s degree entitled “Displacement and displacement and their impact on Anbari society between the years 2014-2017.”
The study, which was presented by student Adnan Aliwi Marouf, under the supervision of A.M.D., aimed to Abdul Qadir Muhammad Hussein, to study the main causes of the phenomenon of population displacement within Anbar Governorate between 2014 and 2017, and analyze the motives that led to this, as well as exploring the effects on the displaced themselves and on the governorates hosting them.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Abd, and its membership included Prof. Dr. Khaled Mustafa Obaid, and A.M.D. Watheq Abdul Razzaq Abdul Majeed.
The study concluded with a number of results, the most important of which was to highlight a number of positive and negative effects of the phenomenon of displacement and deportation in the social, economic and political aspects, whether at the individual or community level.
