University of Fallujah Participates in the First National Conference on Energy and Emissions Reduction
The University of Fallujah, represented by A.M.D. Alaa Fayek Habib, the lady responsible for sustainable development orientation, participated in the first national conference of the community team of the National Initiative to Support Energy and Reduce Emissions. The conference was organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Environment in Baghdad, with the presence of the main team members of the national initiative and a number of non-governmental organizations in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The conference featured a series of presentations on climate change, delivered by specialists and university professors with expertise in this field. The event provided a platform for discussions on addressing climate change, utilizing renewable energies, and promoting the shift toward a green, sustainable economy.
This initiative aligns with national efforts to support government actions in confronting the impacts of climate change and underscores the importance of sustainability in tackling environmental challenges.
