University of Fallujah Signs Cooperation Agreement for Electronic Payment Services
On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, the University of Fallujah signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab Electronic Payment Company (POS) to facilitate electronic collection of government dues.
The agreement was signed during a visit by a company delegation to the university, where they discussed implementation mechanisms with Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, President of the University, in the presence of Professor Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, and M.M. Abdul Qader Naji Ali, Chairman of the Electronic Payment Committee.
Under this agreement, the company will provide electronic payment services and bill collection using point-of-sale (POS) devices installed at university sites.
It is noteworthy that Al-Arab Company is a licensed electronic payment service provider by the Central Bank of Iraq. This initiative aligns with the directives of Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to automate financial procedures across the country.
