Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abdul Karim Abdul Rahman Chairs Scientific Session at the International Conference on Environment and Sustainability
Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abdul Karim Abdul Rahman, a lecturer at the University of Fallujah and head of the Central Promotions Committee, chaired one of the scientific sessions at the International Conference on Environment and Sustainability held by the Colleges of Science and Applied Sciences - Hit at Anbar University, in cooperation with the University College of Knowledge. The conference took place over two days, from November 29 to 30, 2023, with the participation of distinguished researchers both from inside and outside Iraq.
The conference covered a wide range of themes, including environmental pollution, biodiversity, ecosystems, renewable energy, environmental biotechnology, and the challenges of environmental sustainability, development, and climate change. Its primary goals were to enhance awareness, foster interaction among participants, promote sustainable development, encourage innovation and new technologies for improving environmental performance, and strengthen partnerships to achieve environmental sustainability.
The conference also provided a platform for researchers to present their findings and successful experiences in these critical areas. This participation aligns with the University of Fallujah’s commitment to strengthening its cooperation with other Iraqi universities in scientific and academic endeavors, particularly those focused on environmental issues and sustainability.
