University of Fallujah Launches Agricultural Research Project to Support Sustainability
In line with the directives of the respected President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the University of Fallujah, through its Center for Biotechnology and Environmental Technologies, has initiated the preparation of large agricultural areas for planting various field crops as part of its scientific research for the upcoming fall season.
Objectives of the Agricultural Project
The initiative aims to:
- Support scientific research in agricultural and environmental studies.
- Contribute to expanding green spaces and promoting environmental sustainability.
- Enhance food security efforts through the cultivation of white and yellow corn, mung bean, and safflower crops.
- Strengthen the university’s role in community service and applied research.
