University of Fallujah Participates in Anti-Corruption Symposium
On January 31, 2024, the University of Fallujah participated in an educational symposium on corruption and its negative effects on society, organized by the Department of Reconstruction and Projects at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event, held in cooperation with the Integrity Commission and the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau under the slogan “For the sake of Iraq and its people, we fight corruption,” took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.
Representing the university were Professor Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, along with A.M.D. Abdel Salam Youssef, Director of the Construction and Projects Department, M.M. Ahmed Abdel Khader Jassim from the Legal Affairs Department, and Rafd Ayada Khudair, Director of the Government Contracts Division.
The symposium covered key topics, including defining financial and administrative corruption, its economic and social consequences, legal and administrative measures to combat it, and the Ministry’s anti-corruption strategy.
