The delegation of the University of Fallujah, headed by the distinguished President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, participated today, Friday, April 19, 2024, in the activities of the fourth edition of the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students, “A Batch on the Guidance of the Moon,” which was organized by the Abbasid Holy Shrine, under the slogan “From the land of Karbala, giving bears fruit.”
The participating university delegation included the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Salim Hassan, and a number of members of the administrative body, as well as a group of graduates of the university’s colleges.
The ceremony aims to highlight the true image of the outstanding outputs of Iraqi universities, and to embody the national solidarity of the people of Iraq, through the participation of graduates of all religions, sects and nationalities.
The ceremony, in which more than (4,500) students from (54) Iraqi public and private universities participated, included marching of university graduates and delegations participating between the two holy shrines, chanting the graduation oath, as well as organizing a series of scientific, intellectual and cultural events.
It is noteworthy that the University of Fallujah had previously received an official invitation from the Holy Abbasid Shrine to attend the activities of the central ceremony, as a confirmation of the academic status that the university occupies. Department of Media and Government Communications
