The Women’s Empowerment Division at the Presidency of the University of Fallujah, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit, held a scientific workshop entitled: “Women Entrepreneurship and Green Projects,” under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, A.M. Damhand Khalifa Obaid.
The workshop, which was hosted by the Martyr Dr. Khalil Central Hall in the College of Administration and Economics, was held this morning, Sunday, March 3, 2024, coinciding with International Women’s Day and in the presence of the Dean of the College and his assistants for scientific affairs.
And the administrative and scientific department heads, and a number of faculty members and college students. The workshop that she managed included Head of the Women's Empowerment Division, Dr. Lamia Adnan Abd addressed several topics, the first of which was presented by the head of the Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, Dr. Alaa Fayek Habib, Sustainable development projects and their importance in preserving environmental capabilities and societies, while a lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics, M.D., spoke. Ghaida Sadiq Salman, in the second axis, about green technology and the global trend towards green projects and how to deal with economic and environmental variables, while the third axis touched on entrepreneurial women, where Ms. Mina Jassim Abbas was hosted as a model of entrepreneurial women in Iraqi society to talk about her experience in her field of work.
The workshop also discussed various other topics, including sustainable development goals, the importance of green projects, green jobs, green technology, and the experiences of Arab countries in this field, in addition to the experience of Japan.
