University of Fallujah Holds Workshop on Organized and Unorganized Crime
On April 2, 2024, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the University of Fallujah organized a workshop on organized and unorganized crime, specifically focusing on crimes against public money and occupational negligence. The workshop, held in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, aimed to raise awareness about corruption in administrative work and its negative impacts on society.
The session covered two main topics:
- Dr. Naji Fayyad discussed the concept and types of crime, its societal effects, and methods for addressing these issues.
- M.M. Zaidoun Ibrahim Guest addressed the legal implications of crimes related to public funds and professional negligence, highlighting the importance of upholding the law in administrative and financial matters.
The workshop was attended by department heads, unit officials, and other university members, who actively engaged in discussions on how to combat administrative and financial corruption. This event is part of the university's broader efforts to enhance legal awareness and work towards the prevention of corruption in its various forms.
