Fallujah University launched a Fine Art Exhibition on February 21, 2024, organized by the Women’s Empowerment Division at the College of Applied Sciences. Held under the patronage of University President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad and supervised by Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jubayr Mahidi, the exhibition aimed to support Palestinian women in Gaza.
In his speech, the University President praised the event as a symbol of Iraqi solidarity with Palestine, emphasizing the role of art in conveying humanitarian messages. The opening ceremony featured a documentary on Palestine, poetry readings, and a theatrical performance by Nab’ al-Hayat Bilingual Schools students.
Following the ribbon-cutting, university officials toured the exhibition, showcasing student and artist works depicting resilience and hope. The event concluded with planting olive tree seedlings, symbolizing Palestinian perseverance.
