The University of Fallujah, represented by the College of Islamic Sciences, is preparing to hold its third periodic international conference for the humanities, entitled (Scientific Readings in Islamic Sciences). The activities of the third international periodic conference will begin during the days 25-26 of Jumada al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to November 27-28, 2024 AD, with the participation of an elite group of researchers from inside and outside Iraq.
The conference is scheduled to address several main topics, including: The Holy Qur’an and its sciences, the sciences of the Prophet’s Sunnah, jurisprudence and its origins, Islamic belief and thought, Islamic politics and economics, Arabic language sciences, Islamic history, and Islamic figures. The conference seeks to spread the scientific contribution to various Islamic sciences over time and eras, to look at ancient and contemporary writings, and to contemplate the approaches of Muslim scholars who had a distinguished role in the intellectual interaction between the present and the past, far from modernist patterns, based on their strengths to anticipate the future and build a society.
